New Survey Finds Johnson with Lead in Senate Contest, Gubernatorial Candidates Tied
For Immediate Release: Tuesday, November 1, 2022
(ATLANTA, GA) –Wick Insights, a FiveThirtyEight A/B-rated polling firm, polled 1,089 likely voters in Wisconsin from Wednesday, October 26 to Sunday, October 30, 2022, using a combination of text-to-web (70 percent) and landline surveying (30 percent). The margin of error for this survey is +/- 3.2 percent.
KEY QUESTIONS AND RESULTS:
If the November 2022 election for US Senate were held today, for whom would you most likely cast your vote – Republican Ron Johnson or Democrat Mandela Barnes? If you are still undecided on who to vote for, please select undecided.
Republican Ron Johnson: 50.2 percent
Democrat Mandela Barnes: 46.1 percent
Someone Else: 1.6 percent
Undecided: 2.1 percent
When prompted to select between the two major party candidates, the few remaining undecided participants selected:
Republican Ron Johnson: 53 percent
Democrat Mandela Barnes: 47 percent
If the November 2022 election for Wisconsin Governor were held today, for whom would you most likely cast your vote – Republican Tim Michels or Democrat Tony Evers? If you are still undecided on who to vote for, please select undecided.
Republican Tim Michels: 47.5 percent
Democrat Tony Evers: 47.2 percent

Undecided: 3.5 percent
