Wick Insights Releases New Hampshire Poll
New Survey Finds Double-Digit Lead for Sununu in Gubernatorial Contest, Tie for U.S. Senate
For Immediate Release: Sunday, November 6, 2022
(ATLANTA, GA) –Wick Insights, a FiveThirtyEight A/B-rated polling firm, polled 725 likely voters in New Hampshire from Wednesday, November 2 to Saturday, November 5, 2022, using a combination of text-to-web (70 percent) and landline surveying (30 percent). The margin of error for this survey is +/- 3.6 percent.
KEY QUESTIONS AND RESULTS:
If the November 2022 election for New Hampshire Governor were held today, for whom would you most likely cast your vote – Republican Chris Sununu or Democrat Tom Sherman? If you are still undecided on who to vote for, please select undecided.
Republican Chris Sununu: 53.1 percent
Democrat Tom Sherman: 42.5 percent
Someone Else: 2.1 percent
Undecided: 2.3 percent
When prompted to select between the two major party candidates, the few remaining undecided participants selected:
Republican Chris Sununu: 44.8 percent
Democrat Tom Sherman: 55.2 percent
If the November 2022 election for U.S. Senate were held today, for whom would you most likely cast your vote – Republican Don Bolduc or Democrat Maggie Hassan? If you are still undecided on who to vote for, please select undecided.
Republican Don Bolduc: 48.4 percent
Democrat Maggie Hassan: 48.3 percent
Someone Else: 2.3 percent
Undecided: 1 percent
When prompted to select between the two major party candidates, the few remaining undecided participants selected:
Republican Don Bolduc: 95 percent
Democrat Maggie Hassan: 5 percent
When prompted to indicate their primary vote-moving issue, these New Hampshire respondents chose cost of living (31.5 percent), threats to democracy (31.5 percent) and jobs/economy (10.7 percent).
